As the global pandemic unfolds, it is likely that many healthcare staff will be required to work outside their current scope of practice. There is an urgent need to provide resources to help these staff expand their skills to be able to safely provide the care required of them. Osler's FREE COVID-19 resource app is designed to support nurses, doctors, paramedics and allied health professionals to learn and refresh their skills and knowledge, helping them perform these expanded roles. All relevant Osler clinical training modules relevant to the pandemic are available through the app. Modules are grouped into a series of collections, so that staff who need to upskill have a clear pathway to follow to do so. The full catalogue of modules is fully searchable and is available to all app users. The app also provides access to a series of podcasts related to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with a regularly refreshed resources page.
